Dr Andrian Dreyer



Dr Andrian Dreyer is a compassionate Specialist Physician based in Roodepoort, Gauteng. He obtained his medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Free State in 2012 and went on to complete his internship and community service at Kimberley Hospital in 2013 through 2015.

In 2016, Dr Dreyer studied further and obtained a Diploma in HIV Management (Dip.
HIV Man (SA)) from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. That same year, he started working as a Medical Registrar in the Department of Internal Medicine at Tshepong Hospital in Klerksdorp. He completed his first year in Klerksdorp, whereafter he spent the following three years of his training in Johannesburg at the various hospitals on the Wits Medical Circuit.

In 2020, Dr Dreyer obtained his master’s degree (MMed) in Internal Medicine from the The University of Witswatersrand and became a Fellow (FCP (SA)) of the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa.

Dr Andrian Dreyer is a passionate Physician that cares about his patient’s well-being. He has a special interest in the management and treatment of lung disease, heart failure, diabetes, and geriatrics, as well as optimizing his patients' treatments. He is especially passionate about treating the elderly and helping them age gracefully.

Additionally, Dr Dreyer has a keen academic mind and works to ensure that he is up- to date with recent medical research and medicine. He strives to thoroughly explain his patients’ medical conditions and treatments and allows them to ask questions in order to fully understand their diagnosis.

Outside of his practice, Dr Dreyer is a devoted husband and father who enjoys jogging, fishing and reading, Competitive sport shooting, to name a few.
